Dr Timothy Carr MBBS graduated from Sydney University in 1976.  He has been in general practice for about 35 years and in the Hills area for 15 years. Dr Carr integrates in his practice the traditional system of Indian Medicine.  His main interest is stress management and personalised dietary and lifestyle prescriptions for the prevention and management of chronic disease.

Dr Sandamali Senaratne is a General Practitioner who has been practising in Australia for over 20 years, and has been working in the Castle Hill area since 2004. Her special interests are pregnancy care and antenatal shared care with local public hospitals.

Dr Amulya Tiwari Skin Cancer Physician

Dr Amulya Tiwari MBBS (India) qualified in 1960 and FRCS from England and Edinburgh in 1964. He trained in India and the United Kingdom, and worked as specialist surgeon in India and Ghana (Africa). Dr Tiwari migrated to Australia in 1974 and worked as specialist surgeon and general practitioner since then. He is presently working as Skin Cancer Surgeon at Castle Hill Family Doctors.

Dr Ryan Chen General Practitioner

Dr Ryan Chen has been working as a clinician and researcher since graduating with an MBBS degree in 2010. He pursued postgraduate studies at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra, where he obtained an MSc in Neuroscience. Subsequently, he earned a PhD in Medicine from the University of Adelaide in 2017.
After completing his RACGP fellowship training, Dr Chen finds it rewarding to be a part of the community, providing ongoing care and ensuring continuity for his patients. With a wealth of experience in both hospital and general practice settings, he is a highly skilled clinician who firmly believes in adopting a holistic approach to patient care, emphasizing compassion, effective communication, and a comprehensive understanding of their needs in the decision-making process. His areas of particular interest include general medicine, minor surgical procedures including skin cancer, chronic disease management, mental health, health promotion and preventive medicine. He enjoys reading, swimming, exercising, travelling and spending time with his young family during his leisure time.

Dr Smitha Sarpamalay General Practitioner

Dr Smitha Sarpamalay has experience in medicine for over 17 years. After completing her undergraduate medical training in India, she completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. After moving to Australia in 2014, Dr Smitha worked in Obstetrics for a few years before deciding to change her career path to become a GP. She gained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.

With a strong interest in all aspects of women’s health, Dr Smitha also obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of Australia and New Zealand. She also holds a Diploma in Child Health with Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.

Dr Smitha is passionate about her work as a GP. Her compassionate and understanding nature stands out in her interaction with her patients. Her interests in general practice include chronic diseases, preventative health, mental health, child health, women’s health and minor skin surgical procedures. She has a strong interest in all aspects of women’s health including antenatal care, reproductive health, contraception (including devices), menopause, sexual health, and adolescent health.

Outside of her life as a doctor, Dr Smitha enjoys spending time with her family, getting out into the nature and trekking. She also loves putting her dancing shoes on in her spare time. She is a dedicated mum and is busy with her little one when not at work.

Dr Ramessh Ranjan Endocrinologist

Dr Ramessh Ranjan is an endocrinologist and staff specialist at The Canberra Hospital and Barton Specialist Clinic. He completed his medical degree at the University of Melbourne, before attaining his fellowship in both endocrinology and general medicine.

Ramessh has a keen interest in all aspects of endocrinology including:

Rima Aghajanian is an integrational functional Podiatrist and in that process uses foot to core sequencing in order to assess and diagnose postural and biomechanical lower limb pathologies.  Rima uses a holistic approach, and her interests include general podiatry, posture and alignment treatment, biomechanics & orthotic therapy, children’s feet and diabetic foot care.

Sharon Liang Accredited Practising Dietitian

Sharon Liang is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia. She graduated from the University of Newcastle in 2018 with a Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics (Hons) and has been active in private practice with both dietetics and practice management.

Sharon can assist her patients with any nutritional and dietary concerns including weight management, weight loss, metabolic syndrome, pre-diabetes, insulin resistance, nutrition for seniors/elderly, malnutrition, IBS/gut symptoms, bloating, food allergies and intolerances, chronic health conditions and chronic disease management/TCA/EPC.

Gwen Zaragoza Exercise Physiologist

Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science, Bachelor of Exercise Physiology, Cert III & IV in Fitness

Gwen Zaragoza was born in California, and is a Treating Clinical Exercise Physiologist. Her key interests are witnessing and being a part of the process where individuals grow to become independent, positive and confident in their physical self to complete every day and non-everyday activities throughout their life.

Outside of work, Gwen has competed in two novice powerlifting competitions. Her other hobbies and interests included true crime documentaries, podcasts and shows. She had a motorcycle license however had a little fall so never jumped on again.

Qasim Karimjee Physiotherapist

Qasim (Q) Karimjee is a licensed physiotherapist and member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. He graduated from the University of Canberra and has experience working with a range of people from both general and sporting backgrounds. Qasim believes in working with you to find the cause of your pain to keep you doing the things that you love. His focus is on getting you back to your everyday life pain and worry free.

Qasim has treated a variety of injuries, such as: back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, tennis elbow, knee pain, osteoarthritis, pre or post-operative rehabilitation, ankle injuries, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatic pain and many more.

Apart from work, Qasim loves playing all types of sports, such as tennis, squash and football with his main interests at the moment being badminton and cricket. Qasim also spends some of his time at the beach, swimming, or in his garage working on some woodworking projects.

Languages: Fluent in English and Gujarati, speaks some Hindi and Urdu
